The Graphic Path: Ghen Martin’s portfolio and sketchbook

Not only a Superman fan…

The Graphic Path is the home of Ghen’s sketchbook and portfolio. And who’s *Ghen? “Ghen” is Jose Martin’s favorite nickname, the one his little sister gave him because it was simply easier for her to say than José Martín.

Jose Martin (Ghen) started his career as a freelance illustrator in 1997, drawing a poster for a forest maintenance and conservation company in Northern Spain. Since then he has been working in areas such as advertising, poster illustration and editorial design, producing and delivering many different projects as an art director, graphic designer and comic illustrator.

Why “The Graphic Path”?
This is my return to the beginning, the things I have enjoyed the most ever since I was a kid: cartoons, comics,… drawing awesome pictures on a piece of paper, dreaming of making them come alive.

As it says in the movie Jeremiah Johnson: “the way that you wander is the way that you choose”. This is my path, and it is full of illustrations, comic book art, cartoons and graphic design.

I invite you to come with me on this graphic path and be my witness as I take my pencils and draw pictures on a blank sheet of paper. Maybe what it comes down to is that I can draw something for you, too! (Click here to visit my commissions page).
